Damiano Errico

Damiano Errico was born in Caserta in 1970. He first studied at the state art institute, and then at the academy of fine arts. He currently works in a small village near Caserta, where he lives with his wife and his 2 children.

Damiano Errico’s artistic career began as a painter, as early as 1987 he began to exhibit his first paintings. He’s been student of the well-known Neapolitan painter Bruno Donzelli.

Subsequently, in 2000, he started to follow the master Mimmo Jodice, esteemed internationally renowned photographer. Since then he has been passionate about photography, making it his passion and his profession.

He is currently trying to merge his two passions, photography and painting.

He considers himself a portraitist, and is often invited to hold portrait workshops in Italy and in many European countries. He frequently exhibits in galleries and museums, and in 2013 he published a book of portraits named “Fleur“, 50 female portraits that reveal the entire female universe.
